Your healing should be reserved for absolutely emergencies only. Now I say this so when you join a party you don’t think about dumping those waltzes and whatnot as soon as you can. DNC should think of its self as a DD in parties and the other stuff as an afterthought/bonus. Rua vaguely mentioned managing these would be a big aspect and it really is and is the thing DNC mess up more than anything and why so many leave an underwhelming impression on their parties. Basically it’s for when you have a fencer build WAR in party. Even a DNC with all its dual wield doesn’t need it and it’s frankly a bit of a pain to maintain as it doesn’t last that long and have to constantly refresh it meaning using tp to activate it as well as having the added JA delay keeping the DNC from meleeing. First, for as good as haste samba could be, it almost Never actually needed anywhere as everyone is already capped. That said for those DNC mains out there, a few things need to be better explained or detailed out. Not a bad video for new and upcoming DNC’s and to help the community as a whole understand it better. Thanks again for making this guide and I hope enough people will watch this to rid the job of the false, negative stigma that it can’t do enough to justify a party slot. I’m guessing you just didn’t build a tauret to play with during making this video since I didn’t see you wielding one, but it’s a very strong and fun weapon that brings a bit different play style to the table. When soloing apex mobs, my building+evis+darkness will often even outdamage the following rudra+2nd darkness, unless climactic is ready of course. Combined with a Tauret, evis can put out some huge numbers very quickly since the +25% damage applies to all hits. The only issue I had in the video was the bit about building flourish no working well together with evisceration.
In the ones I’ve been able to coax the party leader into bringing me for DD, people are surprised by the amount of damage weapon skill + skillchain damage can pump out. Unfortunately people are generally pretty dnc-ist on Asura, to the point I get turned down for CP party shouts regularly. Thanks for the dancer guide!
